Unisource Holding Inc's experience with fertilizers dates back to 1983 when UXSA was established. Further, in 1997, Fertilizantes Maya S.A. was established with the brand "Mayafert" as the sole name. Our blending plant has a storage capacity of 120,000 MT.

 

We unload ships from Puerto Quetzal and transfer in bulk to our blending plant "El Boqueron". Fertilizers are stored in this plant, where they are later bagged blended or as a single product.

 

We have agencies and distribution centers that cover the entire country, therefore bringing our products to all areas of the country.

Unisource Holding Inc. bengan distributing fertilizers in El Salvador under the brand name "Itsmofert". We began operations in 2010.

Our principal products are:

1. Nitrogenous Substances

• Urea 46% N.

• Ammonium Nitrate 33.5% N.

• Ammonium Sulfate 21% and 24%

2. Phosphates

• M.A.P. 12-52-0

• D.A.P. 18-46-0

3. Potassium based

• K.C.L. 0-0-60

4. Minor elements

• Ca, Mg, B, Zn, Mn, Mb, Fe.

• N – P – K – Ca – Mg – S – B – Zn – EM. Blended in base of the soil analysis and cultivate requirements.

Apart from the range of products we offer, we also offer agricultural services, such as land evaluation, so that we can better identify the required fertilizer for our clients.

 

We also do soil studies and specified blends to meet the needs of the crops.
